A public lecture by Professor Judith Povilus was held on Thursday 6th December 2018 at the Archbishop’s Curia in Floriana on the theme: Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary: Mary, a Stumbling Block or a Door to Unity?  

Professor Judith Povilus, from the U.S., is an internationally acclaimed mathematician and one of the founders of Sophia University, Loppiano, Italy. She is a member of the Focolare Movement and she has also delivered talks on the role of the Virgin Mary in the context of ecumenical dialogue.
