On Thursday 3rd May 2012, on his arrival at San Francisco’s international airport, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. was given a warm welcome by a large group of Maltese-Americans, led by the Hon. Consul General, Mr. Louis Vella. The Maltese emigrants were enthusiastic to introduce themselves to the Archbishop, especially those who hail from Valletta, which is the Archbishop’s place of birth. After exchanging some words of welcome they bid farewell and promised to meet in the coming days during the events which are being organized as part of the Archbishop’s pastoral visit to Maltese emigrants in San Francisco, United States, followed by his visit to Maltese missionaries in Central America.
