The National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE) has re-certified the Archbishop’s Curia – Archdiocese of Malta with the Equality Mark Certification. The latter was first awarded the equality mark certification in 2020 by the NCPE.
Recertification of the Equality Mark confirms that the Archbishop’s Curia has kept its commitment to promote and foster a workplace culture that values diversity, equality, and respect. The recertification was based on evidence that the Archbishop’s Curia has continued implementing relevant policies and practices that concern gender equality and family-friendly measures at the place of work, as well as the provision of goods and services. The recertification award process demonstrated that the Archbishop’s Curia is dedicated to maintaining its promise of equality and diversity and is actively working towards creating an inclusive workplace for all employees.
The Archbishop’s Curia recruitment and employment principles are based on providing equal opportunities to candidates. Employees have equal career and personal development opportunities and access to family-friendly schemes.
“We are very proud of this recertification because it is a formal recognition of our commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the workplace and for maintaining standards of fair and equal treatment for all employees.” – said Rebecca Gatt, Director Human Resources
